Brothers in Arms : The Montreal Wrestling Club explores the unheralded world of amateur (Olympic) wrestling, a world marked by a level of devotion, self-discipline and bonding uncommon even among athletes; one in which wrestlers stand in for brothers and coaches for fathers. In-depth interviews, original footage of training and competitions, as well as archival footage are blended together to provide an insightful portrait into the motivations of these young men and women as they strive to excel in the oldest and, some say, purest sport ever.
