Lamented Moments / Desired Objects

Using selections from 8mm home movies and video footage, this tape explores personal memory, identity and the relationship of the photo document to memory. Lamented Moments / Desired Objects interweaves traces of repeated images and sounds to create a sense of time past, as it is experienced through the discontinuous and sometimes misleading impressions left by the photographic document.
