Le lieu de la mémoire, ou, Merci Todd Siler

Le lieu de la mémoire is a tribute to Todd Siler, an American artist who combines fine art with science (brain research). To the beat of the song We Are the New Age, three female performers use Siler's works and a silica mine to form a new context for pictoral and mineral elements. Characters execute a series of actions, and as such, video images concretise the notion of performativity.
