Show de bleu is a short film shot in Tingwick, in the Centre-du-Québec region. The work's title comes from a Quebec expression referring to burnout. When drivers lose traction, their tires screech and the accelerated rotation generates a blue smoke. Through a meeting of its enthusiasts, this video exposes the automobile culture associated with rural life and this illegal leisure activity. In trying to 'leave their trace', the participants take part in a kind of filial ritual.
