This video portrays the life of homeless men as presented by the social worker, Rudy Eikelbloom. Eikelbloom believes that the typical homeless man is older, has little education, and has been left jobless by the emerging technology in the post-war period. He states that the life of a homeless man is based on conviviality and sharing, and alcoholism is not the cause of his marginalization. The men themselves speak about their relationship to alcohol and the missions. The video demonstrates that these men are aware of their situation and their problems. According to Eikelbloom, the solution to this situation lies in increasing the men's awareness about their own responsibilities, as well as increased government measures and reintegration programs.
