St-Laurent

A fragmented look at the intellectual activities of the artists and residents of Montréal's famous, "boulevard of broken dreams", located on boulevard St-Laurent. Back in 1972, before it became mandatory for businesses in Québec to display signs in French, the area had a unique character. This character is well captured on film through several interviews with local artists and recurring images of street scenes.
