Charlie Marois was born in Paris and moved to Quebec during his childhood. 

After studying philosophy at the University of Montreal , he completed a bachelor's degree in film production at Concordia University in Montreal. As an experimental filmmaker, he creates moving images through a formal and sensitive approach. His films have been screened at various festivals in Montreal and abroad.
