Rosalie Pelletier
Based in Montreal, Rosalie Pelletier is an emerging filmmaker and visual artist. With her first documentary, Ma Soeur (2025), she tackles her relationship with her adopted sister through a hybrid art-therapy approach designed to share the medium with the film's subject. A native of the Eastern Townships, the filmmaker strives to portray diverse social realities, and places great importance on the environment and spaces surrounding her subjects. Alongside her film practice, Rosalie is developing a video art practice that explores the notion of faux-documentary. A graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, she also works in costume departments on various Quebec sets.
